Excel Training: Essential Formulas & Functions (Hands on Training, bring your laptop to practice)
- Understanding formula syntax and order of operations
- SUM, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, COUNT functions
- Using relative, absolute, and mixed references
- Text functions: CONCATENATE, LEFT, RIGHT, MID, TRIM
- Logical functions: IF, AND, OR, NOT
- LOOKUP functions: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP
- Error handling: IFERROR and ISERROR
- Nesting functions for complex formulas
Matthew Mauer is a Vice President/Sr. Client Solutions Director with Robert Half, a leading professional staffing firm. Matthew works with clients across Central VA to help solve critical staffing challenges, primarily in accounting, finance, HR, and payroll. He has been with Robert Half for over 7 years. Prior to joining Robert Half, Matt graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a major in Business Administration and minor in Economics. In his free time, Matt enjoys golfing, watching sports and spending time with his fiancée, Shana.
