The Richmond Chapter of the APA will be hosting a virtual meeting on Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 from 9am until 1pm.  You will be able to earn 2 RCHs for attending.  Alice Jacobsohn will be speaking about Legislative Updates.  Tickets are $30 for members and $40 for non-members.  This meeting will use the Zoom platform.  An email will be sent to all registrants with the meeting information no later than noon on February 16th.  If you have not received the email by noon on the 16th, please reach out to [email protected].

Our Community Outreach charity for this meeting will be Reinhardt House.  We are asking that you send cards/letters to the incoming guests or nurses/doctors or purchase an item off the Amazon Wishlist to be delivered directly to Reinhardt House.

As Director of Government Relations for the American Payroll Association, Alice Jacobsohn is an experienced advocate building bridges between payroll professionals and government legislative and regulatory entities. Prior to APA, Ms. Jacobsohn worked as a compliance consultant for private companies assisting with practical approaches to implementing management strategies and business regulations. In addition, she worked for 17 years as a director at the National Waste and Recycling Association developing and implementing educational programs and public relations strategies, managing state chapters and policy-making groups, and lobbying and educating decision-makers. She was a program manager at SEMCOR Inc. advising the U.S. military and private-sector customers on compliance, a staff attorney for a commissioner at the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, and legislative assistant to a Pennsylvania state senator.
